1. Acrylic nails have strong odour, at sawaddee spa we love to maintain a fresh air feel in our spa, for hygienic reasons.
2. Acrylic nails can damage your real nails in a harsher manner than Gel nails can.
3. Acrylics can look less natural than gel nails.

5. The curing time is faster than acrylics, sometimes clocking in at just two minutes when light-curing is done.

The short answer: GEL NAILS are an extremely natural-looking enhancement: thin, clear, flexible, non-yellowing, non-porous, resist lifting. Gel nails can be used for natural nail overlays (actually one of the most difficult techniques -- but it looks the easiest), tip overlays, and sculpted onto forms for short extensions, and to help encapsulate a damaged free-edge as it grows out.

NAIL BEAUTY TREATMENT AFTER CARE

• Wear rubber gloves for household jobs such as washing up.
• Everyday use a good quality cuticle oil and hand lotion to keep the cuticles skin soft and supple.
• Nail enhancements are flammable and should be kept away from direct sources of heat.
• Always remember your nails are jewels not tools!So do not use your nails as tools to pick off labels or open ring pulls, etc.,
• Ideally, don't let your nails go any longer than 3 weeks without having a maintenance appointment and in-fills as this will keep your nails strong and looking good.
• There are many traps for unsuspecting nails. (car doors, kitchen cabinets, switches, etc.) be aware of them and you will soon get into the habit of using your hands in a different way.
• Treat your new nails with care until you get used to them.
• Your nails are on show as much as your skin and hair and add to the overall look of being well groomed !

Please note: Never attempt to remove nail extensions yourself. This may damage your natural nails. Always make an appointment with a nail professional for nail extension removals.

• Advanced booking are highly recommended to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. A credit or debit card number is required at the time of booking.

• Please check-in at the spa reception at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid reduced treatment time.

• Guests who have high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, are pregnant or have any other medical complications are advised to consult their doctors before signing up for any spa services. Kindly inform your spa therapist of any existing medical condition.

• Smoking is prohibited.

• Consumption of alcohol within the Spa will be at the Manager's discretion.

• The management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables of any kind brought into the Spa premises.

• A 24hr cancellation notice is required to help us re-schedule your appointment, subject to space availability. Any cancellation with less than 6 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Full charges will be imposed for a "no show".
